Ok, who has one?? If you have one, did you lift it yet?? If its lifted, what kind of kit, how much, where'd ya get it?? I've been looking and looking for a kit to lift with, but cannot choose. I found a pretty good price on a body lift, but it had a lot of "Tech Notes" involved. Just wondering what everyone else is using. I want to get LIFTED!!

suggestions please! not bank busters, im broke enuff! haha

i have the rancho 4" on my 01 EB. i think it was around 1200-1500. body lift will be the cheapest way to go for now. any suspension lift is gonna cost you over 1K unless you are going to install it yourself. then you might be able to bargain shop. i had a body lift on my 98 4x4 XLT expy but never got around to doing the suspension part.

I went online to the Rancho site, they dont have anything listed for 1998 Expy's.. Its all for like 2000 and up. Sucks ass. And I wouldn't be able to do the lift myself, I have NO idea what all is involved in that. This is actually my first "Truck" and its not even a truck. haha! I dunno, I know that I dont want to go to big..and a 4" lift would be Ideal for me because then I wouldn't have to pay out the ass for bigger tires, 33's would look just fine under it.

if you want 33s then do a torsion crank. that you can do in your drive way. takes about 10 mins with measuring and remeasuring. thatll get you 2 - 2 1/2 inches of lift and then get a 3" spacer in the rear. then 33s will fit good.

but first do you have air suspension? cause if you do then you can pretty much only do a body lift.

I've got a 98 EB 4x4. I did 3 inch Performance Accessories body lift, 2 inch rear coil spacers, and a 2 inch torsion crank in the front. I run 315/75/16's on 16x8 rims.

Body lift was around $200 , $700 for installed. Spacers were $50 for the pair. TT was free. Gap guards were $80.

BDS makes a lift for Expy's, its $2800 though! And I've been thinking about doing away with the air ride crap anyway. Yeah, its comfy..but i want lift!

just convert it using the strut masters kit. the link is the ad on top. then you can do the torsion crank and spacer. or just get a 6" fabtech lift. and convert it then. haha
