    Why do you have to mess with the shipping pin at all? Can’t you just unbolt everything, disconnect the seat heating wire and call it good?

    Gas smell on starting.

    It went away as the day progressed, but what concerns me is that I smelled it for like 20-30 minutes this morning, at 4am. I researched it and it’s normal for a cold start but should only last a few minutes.

    Getting new tires for my new to me 2010 limited EL. Walmart is giving me a choice between 18 inch and 20 inch tires. In the past with other vehicles I’ve had retailers offer a tire size too big and wound up with wheel well contact when turning. Is the 20 inch really going to be ok? Or...

    New to me 2010 limited EL. Gas smell on starting with heat on, cold morning. Is this normal? Condensation from the exhaust too.

    they tentatively said it was the torque converter during the test drive then said they just recommend a flush. Dropped the pan and the fluid was battleship grey but no debris. It’s running pretty good but haven’t had it on the freeway yet. Noises are gone, I think. Am I in the clear?

    Thanks everyone. Going to Aamco on Thursday, praying I don’t need a rebuild. Getting a free diagnostic. It’s getting a flush at least. Idk why valvoline told me they couldn’t do it and referred me to a dealer.
