My 12 volt socket is on the passenger side. I drilled a hole below and put in a 2 3amp usb with the voltage info. I just tapped into the power socket above it. Had to pull glove box, grabbed wires behind power socket and added them to new usb socket.
How did you wire it? I was wondering if I could tap the fog lights power on my2015. Even if another relay is needed? Great job by the way exactly how I thought it could be done.
My 2015 backup camera is also intermittent, day or night mostly during the day, tried with radio on or off, shift back and forth into reverse, nothing changes just won't go on.
