Mr Big.. so true!!! I appreciate the chrome look. My dad was a truck driver and well Chrome was a thing :) I like the blacked-out look, like your son :) even the flat paint :) This expy is nice, NO DOUBT. the Platinum interior. Love the seats. And yes I want what I don't have :) :) But...
Well, I will admit I was stupid in the question and not realizing something I already knew. When looking at the Super Duty, I did not like the Limited trim for a variety of reasons. The interior is all good, but 22" wheels on a Super Duty I don't like. So, in looking at different grill types...
HA! Sorry, I had a 2017, the last one before the aluminum body.
I have debated looking at Stealth parts for sure. I have a hard time figuring out where the junk yards are. The shipping for the body parts is too much. One thing is the 2017 had factory fender flares. That helped with the...
I am coming from a 2018 to a 2020. I liked the lines on the 2018 over the 2020 as the 2020 seems more "smooth" overall. and looks like an oval. That is an exaggeration, but something like that. I don't like that look. This also has the Chrome package, and I am not a fan of such. Why I have...
comign from a 2017, this 2020 seems louder. I cant tell if the increased noise is from the exhaust manifold, cat converter area and even out of the resonator/muffler, almost like all 3. I bought it used and the price was pretty good, so I am waiting for "the issue". But I saw in another...
Wow, now that was a response :) Fair points and yes I knew the older King Ranch seats needed to be treated as they were "real leather". I was unsure if these new seats were like those or not and what is needed. Thanks for the details.
I have to think there is a different forum for this, but I will start here. My 17 Limited I used some leather cleaner and I don't think it worked well or right, or I used it wrong. For these '20 seats, the leather is very different (softer) so I know I need to do something different, but what...
Curious with this crowd. Can I add an octane boost vs going to 91 oct (or 93)? I would want to do the math of cost of the additive vs the increased fuel cost. Thanks :)
Thanks for all the answers and interesting back and forth. SO it is a software enhancement, the parts are still the same. It will be interesting to see if I feel any difference between fuel types. Not like I can test HP with the different fuel types. I am coming from a 17, so a Gen1 motor...
Does anyone here know how they added 25HP to the Platinum series? I see it needs PRemium Fuel, but physical differences are in the truck? The CPU only? So far I cannot figure out how they got the increase. Since I will be owning one here in about 6 hours... I want to know things about...
That is hilarious (in a negative manner), as I had to fight with Ford to get my 2017 VCT fixed. I know the issue :) I will have to see if I can figure out the build date as it seems later 2020s had the updated phasers. Thanks for that tidbit
Hello all 4th Gen owners. I currently have a 17 Limited Max. I am looking to sell and get a 20 Platinium 4wd Max. I really like a lot about my current truck, the lines, the engine, the overall everything... But I bought a dealer demo and I knew the abuse that it was put through would come to...
Super fun update here. As noted mine was replaced back in June timeframe. I was told then it was not the new one. But since it was failing, they replaced it and just come back later when the new part is in. Well about 3 weeks ago the AC started doing the same thing again, just turning off...
sorry, more details. 79k miles. plugs/coils replaced at 60k. air filter all good. throttle body rhe whole unit was replaced.. to replace the sensor it was a whole unit thing
