    My 2017 started the rear blend door knock a couple of weeks ago. I thought about replacing it myself, but..what's an extended warranty for? Scheduled for next Thursday.

    Eco boost mpg

    2017 XLT 2wd 3.73 gears. About 50K miles. Around town 17mpg, on the road 70ish mph, 21mpg. Towing divide by 2....My 2007 XLT 2wd 2.73 gears, 5.4 was 12mpg or so in town, 17mpg or so on the road, and 10mpg towing at the same speeds. As they say...YMMV!

    Buy an OBDII reader. Leave it connected. Write down codes as they appear. Many codes get erased on a restart.

    I'm on my third throttle body. Yah, they told me they couldn't find any codes because they cleared each time I shut it off and restarted it. I hooked up my OBDII reader and left it in. I then had the codes each time it happened. I have a 2017 with 35k. All have been replaced under warranty...

    2017 3.5 2wd 30,000 miles owned since new. Wrench light comes on, goes into limp mode. Called Ford. Told to shut it off, start it again and take it to the closest dealer. They found nothing. Happened again 30 miles later. Did same, but different dealer. They found nothing. Drive 250 miles...

    Grinding or slight shuttering/rubbing noise while braking

    My '06 did this shuddering thing last fall. Found it was a faulty ABS sensor. Tested by pulling the fuse to the ABS pump and it quit. ABS warning light never came on!

    Bought mine used with 16,000 miles in 2007. Been a great vehicle! Now have 140,000 miles on it and would like to keep it a bit longer, maybe another 100,000 miles! Nothing so far but routine maintenance, until today. Was told that the radiator mount is rusting out! The shop has seen this...
