My 2016 EL XLT (44k mile) has a very loud squeaky/creaky break pedal and white silicone grease isn't doing it. I've tried spraying inside the rubber boot housing but no change. Is there another fix or is this something a Ford dealer will need to look at? (I'm really trying to avoid the expense.) The brakes function fine, by the way.

Did you ever solve this? My 2017 EL Limited has something similar -- sort of a creaking sound when you depress the brake pedal.

Ford issued a safety recall for the 2017 Expedition models, involving replacing a potentially defective brake master cylinder - and brake vacuum booster if necessary.
Has the safety recall been performed on your vehicle? If not, could the sound come from the master cylinder?
