    I've a 2000 XLT Limited, 94K miles, 4.6L, 2WD, and I love it. I have had to get some work done: GEM module: $ 840, (common problem, leaky windsheild on drivers side leads to corrosion of this electronic module) Would I buy another one? Absolutely!

    I had a set of Michelin LTX tires put on the Expedition New Years Day (no waiting in line!). They feel great. I did a lot of online research that led me to this decision. They are EXPENSIVE. Time will tell if I made a good purchase.

    Thanks JUST4FUN Thanks JUST4FUN. The local Lincoln Mercury dealer made the same diagnosis after a new starter and a new solenoid. I now feel somewhat confident that this might actually be the problem. I'll post the results of this issue next week when I get the Expedition back from the shop...
