Engine light flashes for 15 seconds ?????
Thanks for the warning. I'm not going to make my virgin attempt to change spark plugs on a 1998 EB 4.6L with 146,000 on it! WD-40 sprayed in locks, good for related problem. I realize that the original concern here was turning out interior lights while door/hatch was open. But just in case anyone had my problem of the lights and door ajar light staying on when all the doors were closed... this worked like a...- ShanePat

Simlar prob. - time out for interior lights? I'm going the LED route for similar problem. I don't have a manual yet for the 98, EB, 4.6L we just bought. Similar problem We just got a 1998, EB, 4.6 L (going to have CNG added to it and use for vacation or big crowd/load car.) Today, the Door Ajar light didn't come on as usual... keeping the interior lights on for a while. BUT the interior lights won't go off. The running board lights shut off...- ShanePat
