Gas Milage....
I just got back from a 400 mile trip to Nuevo Casas Grandes Chihuahua, Mexico. Our average speed for the trip ( Highway ) was 75 MPH ( Not KMH ) and we averaged 21.4 MPG ( Hand Calculated ) for the trip ( Highway and city driving ) the overhead display and the Edge both read an average of 21.9...- Racenut

In order to swap in the rear axle from a newer expy you would need a lot of fab work since he has a '02 with a solid rear axle and in '03 they went to the independent rear suspension. That and it would have to be '06 or newer because the TSB covers from '97-'05.- Racenut

Onboard air
This pillar is actually pretty good, the only thing is it dosn't have the factory screw locations to hold it in place the grab bar screws are in the middle of a gauge. All I did was run a single self tapping screw thru the top and it is hard to notice after painting the head to match...- Racenut

A cheap dollar store spray bottle works really good for this as well, and agreed this is the best way to find any leaks. Don't forget to spray the bags as well to see if they are cracked or have started to dry rot.- Racenut

If you try and do a bypass you will get CRAPPY MILAGE AND POWER! The computer uses the AIT to adjust the fuel and timing curves so if you bypass it you will either have issues in cold weather of not getting enough fuel, and in the summer you could actually be overfueling and spitting raw gas... -

Programmer for my expy. edge?
The main difference between the cs and cts as stated above is the touch screen / larger screen on the cts. The cts also has a " video in " port to allow for either a backup cam or even a dvd player. Both have the exact same programming features.- Racenut

Towing MPG?
You are on the right track with putting in the K&N kit, now you need to open up the exhaust a bit. Put a good " free flowing muffler " like a Flowmaster or Magnaflow in there and it will really help.
