I just bought my second Expedition, a 2021 Platinum standard length. I also have a 2010 Expedition EL in the family too! Ended up keeping the old girl after they only offered 4500 on trade. The old one still runs good, 153k miles on the old, 23k on the new. Hopefully I’ll have as much good...
Probably the plastic coolant line couplers on passenger side . I replaced both of mine with Dorman coolant lines, with metal Ts iand Ys instead of plastic. Coolant probably leaking on top of motor and getting burned off from the heat.
I have a 2010 Expedition EL, Eddie Baue. Loaded up, even power running boards. Yesterday I drove it around 30 miles to a nearby town, when I got out I smelled an electrical smell. Popped the hood and it seemed like it was coming from under the hood. Drove it back home and still had the same...
Did you figure this out yet? On my 2010, I was able to take loose the headliner and unbolt the antenna. when i did, i used a hair dryer to dry it out and then used silicone to seal around the antenna. Not has a problem since, been about 5 years.
It’s the module under the passenger seat as listed
Above. Probably need to get the pigtail for it too. The ground gets too hot and burns out. The new pigtail has a double ground.
It’s the blue switch under the dash that the break pedal presses.

there's a stoplight switch that the break pedal activates. it's around $20-$30 at autozone or advance auto parts. That fixed mine with that same issue. 2010 Exp.
Yeah water pump. Tascaparta.com got the part and swapped it. Recommend doing the front of the engine pullies and bet while you have it apart. Silly simple change, didn’t take long at all to do.
I would of had to break down the springs, a little afraid of the cheap compression tools out there. These were a full assembly strut with a new spring. Just so many thoughts going through my head of broken springs on older trucks, made me just want to do a full replacement. I didn’t check...
I installed new shocks today on my 2010 Expedition EL with 136k miles. Had to go all the way down to Monroe because KYB and Bilsteen were back ordered for months. Had one blow out before vacation but drove it anyway, almost 2k miles in a couple of weeks. Other than the oil slick left in the...
I’ve been successful on going to the local Dodge dealer and having them look for Michelin MS2 takeoffs. That’s how I bought the last two sets, all for $600 put on. I have 18” on the Expedition.
I had this same problem in my 10 EL. I ended up replacing the entire line all the way from the front. I let the ford dealer for it, cost me $1300. The part was around $550 alone. 6-7 hrs of labor too.
That’s what mine was, ground bad on the under seat module passenger side. Had to add another ground and fix the burn out ground. YouTube video helped me
Is your SXM radio working. I had a problem where the antenna above the passenger side had a seal compromised. This was allowing water into the area and flaking out the GPS and the SXm radio. I took down the trim work on the A pillar windshield area and was able to see I’ll down the headliner...
Airbag is a weird one. My key that I use causes PATS, it broken hardly use it . My transfer case if from the winter when trying to go to 4 lo, got the wrench on cluster and wouldn’t go to 4 lo. 4 auto works and it seems like 4 hi works. Probably a motor on transfer case that’s not moving...
