    Tires for Towing Travel Trailer

2013 Expy EL XLT (5.4L, 6-spd auto, 4WD, factory-towing pkg). General Grabber HTS 60 (275/65R/18) tires have only 37K on them, but are 6 yrs old and tread is getting low, so I am thinking of getting new all-seasons for winter. Outside of winter, we sometimes travel with a modest-weight...

Rear Shock Recommendations for 2013 Expedition?

Did about 3,000 miles of towing our newly-acquired lightweight travel trailer (a 2019 molded-fiberglass Escape 21) recently, using a Fastway E2 weight-distributing hitch. Trailer tows well, no sway at all, but there's a noticeable amount of rear pitching, which I suspect better rear shocks...

How Do You Attach S-hook Straps to Roof Rack?

We carry a canoe on our 2013 Expy. In the past I've used various ropes and straps. But I'd like to use ratchet straps. Problem is, they've all got S-hooks that won't fit around the big side bars of the roof OEM rack. I can just wrap the straps around the bars and the S-hook around the strap...

    Bumper Corner Markers?

I have a 2013 Expedition, bought last July. I'm still having trouble judging where the corners of the front bumpers are. Anyone know of some good marker stalks that will easily attach (preferably without drilling into metal--shouldn't be a problem, as the bumpers are plastic). /Mr Lynn

    Used 2013 Expy-Extended Warranty Worthwhile?

We just bought a used 2013 Expedition EL, with 33k miles (it had been a rental). The truck is Certified, which means 12 months/12k miles 'bumper-to-bumper' coverage from date of sale, plus extending the drivetrain warranty to 7 years/100k miles from date of first service (which was March 2013)...
