Trainmaster was the OP. Read the threads.
TM, I have the ITR socket in the shed, but there are skunks with a vendetta under it.
Can I buy you a new expy in exchange for not going out there? I have now problem pulling a boot off my rod, but the plump skunk might be under there with his skunk...
Did you momentarily lose electrical power?
If so, follow the positive cable from the battery . You are looking for damage to the insulation. The positive cable occasionally grounding against the engine or chassis will cause that exact symptom.
If you're not losing electric for a moment when it...
The suspension will turn on once you exceed 10 -11 mph even if turned off. At 170k, those springs are no longer holding air. The pump is louder because it is worn out. Air is getting past the worn Teflon piston ring so it runs longer.
I'm at 165k , oem compressor sized at 120k. Second compressor...
you could contact Arnott and see if they will sell the bypass module separately.
The ride height sensors can go bad. With and obd reader and forscan lite on your phone, you can check the resistance values of the sensors to make sure they are at the correct value or need adjusting.
I put the new 2" spacer lift on the Arnott coil overs. I didn't want to mess with transferring the spacer and and rusted extension posts. The worst part is I'm still fighting a nasty bug. I have a 3.5 hr drive to the White Mountains Saturday for school vacation week.
I could cross my fingers...
I'm on my second set of those same ones and they are now failing (rapid flickering) . I'm glad you had luck, but I have only gotten 15 months on average.
It isn't the motor. Like Trainmaster said, it's the regulator. There are cables ( like bicycle shifter/brake lines ). They can get gummed up or crusty. I tried dripping tri-Flo oil in the sheaths, but it didn't help in my situation. I just ordered a new regulator like I should have in the first...
I replaced my 2007 interior lights with LEDs, the cargo lamp occasionally stays half lit for a while. The map bulbs occasionally flicker when they should be off.
I check the battery voltage. If your alternator catastrophically failed, you could have run the battery until it couldn't chooch anymore.
There should be codes to read.
Did you have it towed?
