Exactly what i was going to say. It HAS GOT TO BE an expy that is the same model, made same EXACT YEAR, but do remember, if it is a build date of 06-12/2003 (mm/yyyy) its considered a 2004.- MWguns

Well "3rd gen" can be considered a handful of years. But being that it is a suspension part, and you cant decide weather 86, 406 or what ever number between the two would be most ideal on a SUSPENSION part.... Just Rolled Over 200,000 Miles!
Almoooost 250k on my 04 5.4L 2V, no odd noises, ticks or knocks. Just did oil pan gasket and filter adapter gasket as well as coolant flush last oil change. Front shock lower bolt size
I know on my 2004 a 30mm deepwell fits, but has just a very small amount of play around it. Its not enough for it to be an issue or to strip though. If you would have scrolled up, you would have saw were i stated i had messed up my OEM Centeral Junction Box. By attempting to make one from an f150 work(it did not go as planned), so i mamaged to locate one from a 2004 expy for under $100. It was "plug n play", but my PCM was fried so had to...- MWguns

The "mechanic" with an ELM327 adaptor finally showed up (4 days late) and half ass programmed the PCM so my truck would start with keys. Now i have my ABS light on with 4 codes all related to mismatched VIN in PCM. My ELM327 adaptor should be herr within an hr from amazon, but the truck is up...- MWguns

Sorry for the long thread, but idk what 2 do. Morning everyone. On my 2004 expy, build date is 10/03, i am having no crank/start issues with my PATS light blinking at a steady pace with key on, engine off. There was also a clicking from CJB in pass. Rough idle then a bad miss with blinking check engine light
Def need to pull codes first. I had an issue similar to yours, and was only getting a single lean code P0174 i believe. I checked all my vacuum lines, and ended up needing to put a fuel pump and filter in it. Runs like a top now.- MWguns

Love my 2nd gen as much as my first truck (98 dark green, leveled and 13.7" W7 to bang with) hope my 2ndgen can pass 400k miles with no major mechanical issues as well!
