    Door Keypad upgrade?

I had to swipe mine and then touch the numbers, too. Five times is too many. Take it to a Ford store since it's still under warranty. It's 'possible' that pad is defective. While you're there, try out some other touch pads to see if the behavior is similar.

Tire randomly developed a flat spot

Road Force balancing is the most accurate way to balance your tires. The issue you're describing is usually caused by a hard impact, a hard and sudden stop, or in rare instance a manufacturing defect. Let us know what you find out. As far as a solution, replacing the tire is the right approach.

    USB C?

I've done it on other vehicles. @5280tunage - this solution seems like the best way to go if you just want modern ports. As was mentioned, you won't get the extra amperage but you'll get the convenience of using your USB-C cable.

    The AC VINEGAR Journey

Wow, that's some thorough troubleshooting and solid attempts to fix the issue! I tried about half of the fixes mentioned in your post with no success. Three local Ford stores couldn't figure it out. Unfortunately, this was one of reasons I ended up selling the truck. I'll be following the...

B&O 12 speaker stereo has boomy bass

To really know what's going on in order to make a change, your best bet is a Real Time Analysis performed at a mobile audio shop. You can also download an app for your phone or laptop to look at the frequency response. Let us know what you find out. Sound is a very personal experience. Going...

Tire randomly developed a flat spot

I agree with you. This doesn't happen to modern tires. Whatever it is, it's most likely not a problem with your truck. Take it to Costco or a tire shop and get a professional to look at it.

My mostly unbiased comparison - Expy vs. a week in a Grand Wagoneer

After trying all the drive modes with the Jeep, Ford, and Cadillac the one that felt most 'car like' was the the Escalade in Sport Mode. The shifts were crisp, handling was taught, very little dive/squat braking, and the transmission didn't hold revs during normal driving. I need to test drive...

My mostly unbiased comparison - Expy vs. a week in a Grand Wagoneer

Great observations! I agree with most of them. I drove a my '19 Expedition Platinum Max to a test drive of a '23 Series II Grand Wagoneer and then drove a '23 Escalade Sport the same day. The Escalade was the smoothest over uneven pavement, but the Grand Wagoneer had an impressive interior. I...

    2019 a/c question

If all the pressures are good than I would agree the Evap temp sensor is probably the first thing I'd check. Strange that it's not throwing a code.

    Deactivate front bumper sensors

I'm not sure if it will fix your issue, but there should be a re-calibration procedure for the censors. It may be accessible in Forscan so it might be worth posting in that forum as well.

How you feel about BlueCruise after the 2 crashes?

After using SuperCruise and Bluecruise I can say the technology is not perfect. It's great most of the time if the sensors are calibrated correctly, but there's too much room for error to completely rely on it. SuperCruise is slightly better, but they're comparable. It's a nice supplemental...

    inconvenience or safety feature?

Brakes at startup? Is this happening on a level surface? If so, it sounds like your Hill Start Assist is active and the sensor needs to be checked out. Using Hill Start Assist 1. Press the brake pedal to bring your vehicle to a complete standstill.Keep the brake pedal pressed and shift into...

    2018 Max Platinum 4x4 - Maintenance Reccomendations

It sounds like you're doing all the right things...and more...staying with the scheduled service is a sound way to go. As mentioned by the previous posts, I would include preemptively replacing fluids: brake (if not performed during brake work,) transmission and transfer case. The spark plugs...

    Got Some New Parts Coming!

Sounds like a nice setup. Let us know how it works out! As for wheels and tires, you have a lot of options. I tried several. Bigger wheels with smaller (and more stiff) sidewalls will give you good road feel. The OEM setup on my '19 Platinum Max was great for towing but going with Michelin...

Help!! Dealership doesn’t know what’s wrong

Another shop or Ford store is a good idea. I would want a compression check with detailed results. If there are low cylinders, I would put a camera snake down there and take pics of the damage.

control DVD player? Losing my mind?

You can use the app to mirror a video. If you search RSE for Rear Seat Entertainment you'll find several threads on it that discuss the quirks. It's not a very good or intuitive system. You can download the RSE supplement from the Ford owner's website. Most people give up and install an...

    Floor soundproofing

I've done it with some other vehicles, but not the Expedition. Watch out for the electrical plugs under seat (it's easy to miss one and rip it out) and be careful with the carpet trim clips. Let us know how it turns out!

Ford to Eliminate Parallel Parking Assist options

The technology has been around for a over a decade. I tried it on several vehicles. With the Expedition, I never trusted it. The two times I tried using the feature I had to intervene to prevent contact with another vehicle. That said, great idea for people that can't park but the...

    Glass lift gate unlatches sporadically

Agree with @2020-MAX-Limited If the light is staying on, the circuit is open it could be physical or a bad wire, which I doubt. The latch may have moved out of alignment or the electrical mechanism might be broken. Just to confirm, is it the lift gate or the lift gate glass? @RichCam check a...

    Road noise

The stock tires are not designed with the lower noise levels found in models like the Michelin Defender. You can try a strategy that includes more quiet tires and sound deadening. Start in the floor panels around the fenders and move toward the center. Personally I would just go with tires...
