Finally Tuning for 2022 Twin Turbo

Have Livernois tune on my 2018 explorer platinum ( 3.5 ecoboost) for the last several years. Never any issues. Typically, the cpu registers the tune even if you put it back to stock using the Livernois tuner apparatus. Will wait to put this tune on expedition because of warranty. Do not feel...

Exhaust Noise - seems too loud

2021 limited here. purchased a few months ago with 17,000 miles. My wife mentioned the exhaust being different and a bit louder, perhaps, than our 2018 explorer platinum (same engine). Personally, I like the sound (low subtle rumble at start-up) of our expedition. In any event , it sounds like a...

    2019 New Owner Questions

I picked up a 2021 CPO, non max/ HDTowing with 17000 miles. Brought it to dealer to check the under-carriage etc a couple of times. They told me all is o.k. I took to independent mechanic to change rear differential fluid (I thought it may have been submerged in water). The fluid had lots of...

    Flood Extended Warranty

you can pay several tens of thousands of dollars and get a new/newer vehicle........you will still have to pay for tires and brakes as they wear (as you would on virtually any vehicle). Just saying. Ask yourself if you indeed want a newer vehicle and what is the mechanical condition of your...
