    When you turn it off, it asks you if you want all sensors or perimeter only. Choose perimeter only and it will ignore the internal sensors. There is no way to default it to that option that I'm aware of so you would have to do that each time you get out.

    Back on post #40, I looked into the part numbers from a pre-refresh and 2022 and they are the same. So based on that no it isn't a smaller new part. So it is either a factory install issue or a new part supplier IMO.

    Recalls are for safety issues, this isn't considered one unfortunately. This is a production line install issue (not enough gap). My guess is someone new on the line was installing it wrong for a while.

    I believe I read on here the gauges changing is (or was) a known software glitch on the fully digital driver's display as others saw it too. It doesn't do that on mine which is the older analog and digital display. If you haven't searched you might want to try that.

    You do not have BlueCruise on an XLT. That is lane centering assist. It will keep the vehicle in the center of the lane as long as it has resistance (your hands) on the wheel. There is also lane keep assist that you have where it nudges you away from the lines on the road if you get too close...

    I had something similar happen after an update. Deleting the phone from the truck Bluetooth list and adding it back fixed it. I suggest trying that.

    For what it is worth, the 2022 order guide states this note for the limited, king ranch, and platform (not the others, not to say it simply isn't an error): "Horsepower and torque ratings based on premium fuel per SAE J1349® standard. Your results may vary."

    Interesting. I thought the pre-refresh we test drove had it as well, though it might have been a 2020 I think. Regardless it wouldn't be hard to implement it though Ford would never go back and do it. At least the 18s have a lot more other features that weren't de-contented in the layer model years!
