    Usually how long does the vehicle take to build?

    I know the Ford Super duty is on the assembly line for 24hrs. Unbelievable how fast they can build a vehicle. And the Expedition is built in the same facility as the Super duty, in Louisville, KY.

    I think people are confusing road / wind noise, actual V6 engine noise and the V8 engine piped in through the speakers, noise. The actual V6 engine noise is more like a drone. I'm not sure what expy's / navigators come with the piped in V8 noise. I know the timberline does and it depends...

    New owner of a 4th gen.

    Nice ride. I almost went with the stealth but liked the timberline a bit more. I've been driving Ford's my whole life. On my 2nd expy now and I have an 18 superduty and an 01 f350 for work.

    Go to post 111. I showed the body shop this tsb, and they haven't seen it as of Dec 23. So, word is very slow at getting around to dealers on this issue. Read through this thread. It's very informative. This is what I sent to the Ford body shop.

    The Ford body shop I'm at said the exact same thing about the warranty. They should also cover a loner car. They told me today, 7 - 10 days for my roof panel to come in. Spoiler is ready and painted. Looks like this is gonna be a 3 week to a month process to complete.

    Sounds like there is some incompetence with your dealer. How long did it take for the first repair to get completed and do you know what they did to repair your roof ?
