That’s a great question! Looks like I’ll be replacing the engine on my ‘03 EB, and my radiator support bracket is toast too. So I’ll need to address it. But like you mentioned, if just the lower rusted out portion could be replaced - albeit with more than just spot welds - seems like a huge time saver overall. Anyone been successful with that approach?At risk of waking up this old thread, I wonder if replacing just the lower 1/4 or 1/3 of the radiator bracket is a workable fix? slice off above the rust and lap the new piece in and weld?
