Anybody find something that looks and works decent with these boards or is it even possible? The boards go almost all the way to the front wheel well so i don't want them to catch the boards. Any pics would be very helpful. Minnesota snow and ice don't seem like a good thing for these, along with gravel driving. Thanks!

best option i have seen is a semi firm flat style flap. i installed some on my excursion. ford offers some that have a ford logo on them also. i would go check the mud flap section of your local napa, O'reilys, pep boys, auto zone..ect

The DuraFlap mud flaps fit into the fenderwell and give the clearance needed for the running boards. Plus, I did nothave to drill any holes in the fenderwell to install them.

Many thanks for showing the pics of these mud flaps, NRose! I've been hunting without success for some images of flaps that actually work with these running boards without a lot of "customizing" (read: cutting and drilling) to either the body or the flaps. :chewie:

Where did you buy these? I have the same Expedition as you, same color and I have been seaching all over for those mudlaps.
