Well, if those ports & their corresponding connections to the computer are anything like those on a home computer, swapping out the physical connectors should be relatively easy, and may or may not work, but that won't get you the added speed & bandwidth that USB-C offers, unless your vehicle has a system that supports native USB-C connectors....2019 Exp Max. Exactly! I have a post on here somewhere from a couple years ago where I showed drilling a couple holes as well, so I could route my USBC cable out of the tray area with the door closed. Comes out of the side of the center console and I put some rubber grommets in to protect the cable from the sharp plastic edges. like an extra 15 min job.I've done it on other vehicles. @5280tunage - this solution seems like the best way to go if you just want modern ports. As was mentioned, you won't get the extra amperage but you'll get the convenience of using your USB-C cable.
