There were a couple of hoses that were replaced..."inlet/outlet heater core hoses". What was especially odd though, is that the leak remained for another 7-10 days or so after the repair and then disappeared. I was going to take it back to the place and tell them to refund me, but I haven't had a problem since.

Was it physically leaking or was the coolant level going down for those 7-10 days. If it was just the coolant level going down, then it could have been air burping its way out of the system.

They didn’t replace my thermostat when the did the heater core hose. Should they have?

Your vehicle is model year 2019 and the factory thermostat is previous version with brass base. Ford new design has plastic base and it opens at 195F.

So do I need to replace it? I am almost positive they didn’t when they did the heater core hose.

If I were you, I would do it as a precautionary upgrade.
I sure wish the dealer would’ve mentioned it the 2 different times they had it in the shop for the cam phasers and then the heater core hose. Sunday I noticed the temp was over 230° while at high speeds. After digging into why my AC isn’t working right I realized I definitely need to do the upgraded thermostat.. ugh.
