Has anyone tried this stuff on their Ferd ?

It sounds like its a lot easier to apply than traditional ceramic coat stuff. I'm thinking of prepping the surface by going over it with a clay bar.

I've been using their Aerospace Protectant (and cleaner) on vinyl and such for years, great stuff.

I’ve used spray graphene products before. Didn’t last nearly a year (especially if kept outside). It has the same hydrophobic properties, but not the hardness or longevity of a professional grade 9H product.

Generally the spray products trade longevity for ease of use. I wouldn't expect this to last as long as something with more solids and less solvent, but perhaps as a maintenance coating for an existing sealant. I use reddit as a resource for info on car care products. Some of those folks are obsessive. My current favorite is Collinite. Two coats is good for over six months in Houston weather, even stored outdoors.

well, I decided to order a bottle and give it a try anyways. I had to use acetone to remove a dozen big pine(?) sap globs, paint thinner didn't even touch them, and I'm sure the acetone stripped whatever shine was left from the dealer's prep.

I have used Collinite for years now and highly recommend it. It goes on easy, rubs off easy to a high-gloss shine. It lasts over 6 months in northern Nevada mile-high climate where wind abrasion is high. As with any surface polish, it is the cleaning prep prior to application that is most important.

It's no different than any other ceramic spray coating, in usage and application. I keep falling back to the Turtle Wax ceramic coating, which is about the same price as the graphene.

The Graphene wants you to apply it to a cloth, and the Turtle Wax ceramic direct to the car. I've used a few other manufacturers, and really don't see much of a difference one way or the other. Since I use it every couple of washes, it compensates for any inadequate coverage.

At less than 20 bucks, just give it a try.

The newer spray on ceramic products like turtle and chemical guys out perform wax in my opinion. I've used them both.

I agree. And a lot easier to apply.

I have a flat can of actual turtle wax that has not been used in probably over a decade, having been supplanted by the spray on wax, and now the ceramics.
