I already owe you a good dinner.. I decided to not over complicate this, and just hook up 12 volts to the motor once I get to it.. I’ll work from there..From everything I’ve read, it’s probably the motor..
We’ll see..

I tried this, and done the testing.. I have a significant decrease in longterm fuel with only half a tank so far..
First additive I ever used that worked

What is the fuel pressure at the fuel rail supposed to be?
I got 25 lbs when I put everything back together doing the timing job..
I’m going to change the fuel filter and then check the rail pressure again to see how much change the 505 done, and also the difference in the filter..
Thx

Well, I get everything pretty near perfect, drive down to Ocean Springs and the heater core decides to spring a leak..
Manoman
I’m going to just drain the coolant, put some distilled water, and drive till the weather gets cooler..

How are your heater hoses in general ? You could just get you a 5/8" brass nipple pipe at HD and splice in and bypass the front heater core plumbing all together. When you do eventually need heat just let the rear heater moderate the temperature. Until you feel like tearing the dash out to replace the front heater core. That is such a huge PITA job. Might even be worth paying a shop to do that and the AC Evap core at the same time.

You are so good, Hamfisted! Good idea, but it will be easier for me to just drain and run the water.. As it continues to leak, it will clean up the box, and help get the smell out..
When I got home, I wanted to check electrolysis. Going by RockAuto procedures, it checked out ok.
Yes, I’m going to really think about this one.. I may just let my local guy do it.. I want to do it, so I can check out the other systems, or maybe make a list of things to change while I’m in there..
As you remember I thought I would have to do all this during the timing job, but ended up I didn’t need them.. They sitting in the front seat of my 52 F1 ready to go lol
At least I had a good Rib lunch at the Shed in Ocean Springs hehe74692017150__4557E751-F1B4-4B4F-88C0-F2547F0C1801.jpeg
