Cold rattle

so, my 75000 mile 2019 Expedition seems to have a cold rattle, reminds me of my old english cars with loose valves. it stops after about 30 seconds of idle from a cold start. Is this the infamous cam phaser problem ?

if it lasts for atleast 30 seconds then I bet its the imfamous wastegate rattle.

Or more likely CAM aphasers… to the dealer Yee shall go…. It’s a smog thing covered till 80k plus may have a special warranty extension, very common with 2018/2019. After repair you will be good to go.

cam phaser doesnt rattle for 30 seconds

I agree but these posts are almost always in accurate, waste gate or cam phaser, to the dealer Yee shall go…

If its the turbo wastegates then the dealer wont do anything and say its normal wastegate noise. Which is what they said to me. Car sounds like a sh** box cause of the contant wastegate linkage rattle
