Hi, I have a 2004 Expedition XLS. I bought a set of leather seats on Ebay to replace my cloth ones w/ the 60/40 in the front.
After installing the seats and connecting the plugs, which matched up, I now have an airbag light warning. It blinks 3 times a few times and then stays on.
Are the seats not interchangable with out some other mod, or does it sound like there's something wrong with the leather seats?
If the seats were in a Expy that was in an accident, would it have triggered something in the seats that needs to be reset?
There is what appears to be blood on the seats (i'm having trouble getting it out) so I figure they came out of a totaled Expy.
What sould I look for?
Thanks

I figured it out. In case anyone else has this problem, heres the solution. if the seats your installing were in an accident, the seat belts latches were extended. If you swap the seat belt latches, the airbag light goes out.

when you say latches, you mean the part on the seat that receives the belt? i have a 2017 EL that i just swapped some king ranch interior into and getting the light which was in an accident.
