I attempted to revive an old thread. Unbeknownst to me I didn't realize I quoted a fallen soldier. Bedrck47 RIP.
I will copy and paste his post which gives useful info about DTC I'm getting.

B1342 ECU is defective Parking Aid Module CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the Parking Aid Module self-test. If DTC B1342 is retrieved again, INSTALL a new Parking Aid Module; REFER to Parking Aid Module . CLEAR all DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.

Could someone please clarify how to do a pinpoint Test B?
I could grab a used module but I'm thinking the module isn't the issue.

The harness was severed at all 5 wires during a collision with a rear bumper replaced at the dealer through an insurance claim.

The tech did the cheap fix and spliced the wires and used heat shrink. I pulled loom back and inspected for more wire damaged and found none.
The parking aid function was restored for a couple of weeks then stopped again. It's been like this for years and I want to fix it so I don't have to cancel out the reminder every time I run the engine.
When I run a PAM module test with forscan the speaker beeps once but short to ground persists.
I have a multimeter and test light but can't read diagrams for the life of me.
File attached is the diagram. I checked fuse 27, not blown

Any help appreciated. Thanks
