Has anyone tried this company?

It looks awesome, just wondering if anyone has tried it? I’ve seen the android ones and all the issues that come with them. This is supposedly OEM, definitely has my attention.

Interesting find. I’d be more inclined to try out there 8” to 12” sync4 system, to keep all my buttons. However at 3k in price, it’s not a feasible option right now… needs to be 50% less before I seriously consider purchasing the kit.

Seems they have a 50% off now if using code 'HALF60D'

Keep what you have. The buttons are treasures once you are forced to manipulate them on a 15" screen. The large screen is not worth the price or the hassle. I almost didn't purchase my vehicle because of the 15" screen, but glad I did. The screen is a waste of space.

Amen. Having had the 15” Sync 4a for over a year now, I would have paid $1,000 extra to get a Platinum with the smaller 12” screen and buttons if it had been an available option.

EDIT. In my first post I accidentally said i would pay extra for the 15” screen. I meant just the opposite

Exactly why I WON'T trade my 18 in for a new Platinum.

I replaced our 2018 Expedition SYNC system with an Android version about 2-3 months ago. We like it since it retains all the stock SYNC features, cameras, navigation, and buttons and looks somewhat OEM. Plus it adds wireless Apple carplay/Android Auto. This "OEM" one sticks up way too far above the dash. Ours replaces the radio and AC controls, allowing it to sit lower and look and feel more natural.

This is the one we have - I am sure you've all seen this one before:
