'12 King Ranch Ignition

So recently my Expy had an issue with the key in the ignition... when getting home from work, the key would not come out of the keyway and the steering wheel lock did not function.

My guess is the Steering lock pin either broke or sheared off obstructing the key from being removed. Short of brute force and stupidity, I had no option other than to leave the truck as-is.

Any ideas? Steering column replacement or just ignition? Thoughts?

Are the front tires up against a curb or anything like that? Also there may be a shifter or brake switch that interlocks the column lock. Read the manual for an override.

No... key operates properly, and I've been running it almost a month with the key stuck in the ignition. The only thing it won't do is lock the steering wheel in the "lock" position.
