2003 Expedition Roof Rack Cross Bar Removal

Hello. New Expedition owner here and I’m trying to remove the roof rack assembly. I’m Rhino linering the roof soon so I wanted to repaint the roof rack system. I was able to get the front one off but the back one is not wanting to slide out even after you push the tab. It goes like a quarter of the way over the tracks but something is still hanging it up. I thought maybe take the cap off the end but after I removed the star bit screw it didn’t seem like it wanted to pop off or anything. I’ve been looking all over the internet and I can’t seem to find a tutorial about my year. I did see a lot of others and they were completely different. Any help would be appreciated.
