Driving down freeway yesterday, a bunch of thick white smoke started blowing out of exhaust. I get off the exit the truck loses control and spins out sideways I end up going up a ditch thank God no other cars where at my exit this day because that exit is usually packed, and I did not flip over. The engine was smoking like crazy. I smelled coolant coming out too, and when it got up on the tow truck it was weird because the rear passenger tire was dripping wet too!! So Idk its getting checked out it was a crazy experience though.

yeah if it was the rear passenger side, could be that the rear heater hose burst like Cyclone mentioned. If that's the case, it would have dumped coolant in the path of the rear passenger tire. Freshly dumped coolant on a road surface is slicker than snot. That may have caused the spinout?

Got y’all appreciate the help cuz it was definitely wet. Would it cause the engine to smoke too and for smoke to come out exhaust pipes or would that be something separate?

A rear coolant hose rupture would not cause the engine to smoke. Sounds to me as if something like a head gasket blew and over pressurized the coolant system and that rear coolant hose was the weakest point.

Sounds like the "smoke" was the rear heater hose blowing steam and that the hot wet tire spun you out. Weird, but maybe no engine problem if that is the case. Scary though. What year and mileage?
