Can you erase existing keys?

We just picked up a 2012 and it only came with one key and fob and one of them is a cheap replacement. Can all the existing keys be erased through the user interface or something or is this a locksmith only scenario?

You can do it in ForScan, or a good locksmith with the software can do it. Or of course the dealer.
