k...leaving wed. to fl...1019 miles....think im gonna TOP OFF rear gear oil instead of changing completely.:eek: .whatcha think guys. getting kinda edgy cause trip is near.:cool:

stick your finger in and dip in the old oil. When you pull it out, take a look to see if it has a milky color (water in the oil) or just a very dark brown/black color (burnt). If it is still a nice light brown, I would say top it off and go. Otherwise, change it. You are only looking at the cost of some red sealant and oil. No gasket necessary.

well....getting out by 4am this am.....hope everythings good. got some weight...luggage,towels,some tools ect. back is packed good................................ill talk to u guys soon. if i can get online ill post...if not seya on the 1st....
