Does anyone know what I can do to fix the overhead console in my wifes Expedition? The bracket has broken off and half of the unit is dangling from the ceiling. All the coponents still work. This console is the one that has no bells and whilstles just the a/c, heater, push in lights and sun glass holder. I went to the dealer today and they wanted $500.00 for this part. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well I tried to secure the unit (overhead console) tonight in my wife's Expedition and it finally broke all the way off and came crashing down and broke into about ten pieces. Any help on where to find this console (besides the rip off dealership) would be greatly appreciated.

I'd be heading to the local salvage yards to find one. You may want to post in the parts for sale/wanted section here also.
