2005 Ford Expedition Electric Issues
I suggest if you have a sunroof the front right drain is leaking. That drain runs down the A pillar. You can open the sunroof and look into the corners to see the ~3/16" drains. Suspension Upgrade - No Air Ride :(
The only thing I know of is the Rancho Quicklift struts. They are 9 way adjustable. I replaced the air suspension on my 2004 with these. Diagnosing overheating from 200 miles away
I've replaced my water pump 3 or 4 times now and never had coolant on the ground. It just sort of burns off or blows away. Coolant leaks may only be present while it's running since it's under pressure and if there's a leak the pressure will dissipate pretty quickly. As a result you may not...- whtbronco

Unfortunately there is a myriad of tools that might be needed. With the age it could be a hose, the radiator, intake manifold, the water pump, heater core, if you have auxiliary rear HVAC it could be leaking back there. If it's the water pump it would likely have been leaking for quite a while...- whtbronco

This repair has been completed. I was able to tack weld each hole I punched in the repair panel except 1. That 1 had foam right behind it that would very likely have caught fire so I just skipped it. I always hated those dang screw type plastic fasteners. Usually had to mess with them to get 'em out. Anyone install a rooftop cargo carrier to the roof using the mounting holes from the OEM roof rack system? I’m sure it would be a custom build….
I've not heard or seen anyone that did this. I do agree the factory crossbars leave a bit to be desired. Mine have spent most of their 20yr life in the attic, in fact used only twice. If you remove the factory roof rack rails make sure you seal up the holes and I would consider a sealant on...- whtbronco

The front main seal and harmonic damper have been replaced. The seal appears to have resolved the oil leak. The damper didn't resolve the vibration, but it seems to have change the rpm ranges where it's vibrating in park/neutral. Of course it was inconsistent previously sometimes it just...- whtbronco

I often do the same with my 2004 EB. I also keep a key hidden on the frame, it cannot be reached without getting under the vehicle to keep it safe. I don't trust electronics so I always want a mechanical backup.- whtbronco

Agreed. I'm just gonna have to take the approach of preventing the foam from getting hot enough to catch fire. 3 sides of the repair area have no foam behind them so I have little concern there. Beef up rear suspension for towing
There may not be much aftermarket support since air suspension was an option. I've not seen any supplemental suspension systems for them. Well I had held onto a good size piece of the foam and after about 2 seconds with a lighter it caught fire. So it's clearly quite flammable. I'll have to be cautious for sure. I always keep a fire extinguisher with me when welding.- whtbronco
