Hi all! So for about 6 months now, on and off I go to start up my 2010 Ford expedition XLT and the security lock light will blink fast and the engine won't crank. This is very sporadic. To get it to work I have to take the key out. Hit the unlock button on the key fob (sometimes a few times) it sometimes gets to a point where I have to try to do a lot of different things to get it to work like unlock on the key fob, open drivers door, unlock again then try to start again ect. We thought maybe the key was bad so we went to Ford and had a new one programed. That did not help. It started doing it so frequently that I would have to unhook the battery and wait 5 minutes before it would start. So we took it to Ford and they replaced the transponder, but said they didn't know if that was what the issue is, it did not fix the issue. Does anyone have any suggestions? On what to try next?
