Let's See Those Lifted / Big Tire Gen 4s!!

It's just extra threads. You don't thread or unthread anything to it to change the wheels, so yes, you should be able to.

Order XLT vs Limited 7k Help

Interesting how important different options are to different people. I turned off the rain sensing wipers the first week I had them. We saw lots of variable rain and the wipers changing speed every few seconds was annoying. They've been on manual ever since. Love my power running boards and...

What is the purpose of this thing (wire protector?) in liftgate jamb?

I replaced the front camera washer myself. Wasn't too bad. Certainly faster than dropping it off and waiting several weeks for them to get to it. Done in an afternoon, hardest part was getting to the actual part that needed changing. Once there, it was easy. Can't speak for the rear one but...

    Ford and Carfax scam

The report is only as good as what's reported. I bought a car that I found out was formerly owned by one of the forum members for that car. It had suffered all the normal expensive failures for that vehicle and he got tired of paying to fix it and dumped it. None of those repairs were on the...

FordPass app "service history" is flawed

It's kinda like carfax. It only shows what's reported. What's reported might be missing some things, or it might have things that didn't happen.

Dial Shifter - Let Me Vent!

I just went and perused the owners manual and this is definitely the only valid complaint in this entire thread, the rest is just whining. :D

    Front Camera Replacement

While what 99WhiteC5Coupe says is most likely correct, I will say that my camera washer was covered under a TSB. However, I'd have had to leave it at the dealership for a couple weeks until they had time to look at it and then wait for them to diagnose it, get the repair authorized, and finally...

    Stealth Wheels on Platinum?

Thanks guys, they did look good. I'd have kept them but I wanted 18's and more aggressive tires. I was very happy with the swap in Moab, those 22's would have sucked.

    Front Camera Replacement

It's very likely gonna be a lot more work than you'd think it should be. Whole front end will likely have to come off, at least that's my experience replacing the faulty camera washer pump. It's not hard, but is quite fiddly requiring you to get into various positions to pop individual parts...

    Stealth Wheels on Platinum?

Agree, but I hate bling. Usually, the problem lies in the wheel blending with the tire blending with the wheel gap blending with the vehicle. A splash of colored edge of the rim, or, if you are into bling, a polished rim lip, will put a pleasing break between the tire and the wheel setting...

    Stealth Wheels on Platinum?

I voted for black, because that's what I like. If you want more black but keep a little shiny, you might look for these OEM 22" stealth wheels. They are what I had on mine before I went with 18" Tremors.

    Cam Phasers ......

Most dealers will be kind of like mine has been. They've got a "Cam Phaser" guy and a "Transmission rebuild" guy. Those will have done many of these repairs and even though more expensive, they can do the job in their sleep. A local independent shop will do a good job, but working on many...

WHat or how can I change the look - 2020 Max

I did the same, only minor trimming required on the rear axle. Funny thing, I'm running F150 wheels and my Expedition wheels ended up being sold to a guy who was putting them on his F150. Guess we all want what we don't have. :D

WHat or how can I change the look - 2020 Max

Auto manufacturers equate luxury with overdone chrome and crappy wood grain. I hate it.

WHat or how can I change the look - 2020 Max

You could get the chrome stuff wrapped. Many of us have done the beltline like on my limited. As a chrome hater, Ford went a little crazy with the chrome on those Platinums, good luck.

    Engine Covers?

It's funny, some folks complain about the covers because for the most part they are cosmetic, and just get in the way of work. Besides, the Expedition already comes with an engine cover, it's called a "Hood." Or Bonnet, depending on where you live. :D

    2019 Turbo lag?

I got a wrench icon during one of my neutral events, but it went away. No engine light, but when they checked there were a bazillion codes in there, mostly "Stuck in park" errors which go along with the TSB.
