2017 Expedition trailer light warning, nothing wrong with lights.

Hi All,
I have an irritating error and chime on my 2017 Expedition when I am pulling my cargo trailer. It keeps warning me that the left stop/turn light is not working, but it is! I have gone as far as to measure the amps drawn by both the left and right stop/turn lights and the amp draw is almost the same? Does anyone know how to stop this error from coming up every time I brake and turn?

Only thing I can think of is to check all your ground connections. 4 times out of 5 for me that's the culprit... at least for general trailer wiring issues. I've never seen the warning you describe for my trailers...
