Yeah, cause that helps.LokiWolf He did say it had 1000 injectors and was running e85, and the literal name of the tune was "Agressive Tune" hehe
Yeah, 1000cc is about middle of the road. Just because he has 1000cc installed, doesn't mean he is pushing anywhere near 700HP. I have heard NO mention of upgraded Turbos, and those would be needed for that power point. That engine with 1000cc injectors on E85 could theoretically make well over 700HP at the flywheel. To reliably produce that level of power, you have got to make sure the fuel system (not just the injectors) can handle the flow and address the engine internals. The crank looks to be a good piece, but the rods and pistons would need to be upgraded.
3.5L EcoBoost Engine Internals
Forged steel crankshaft - Good
Forged powdered metal connecting rods - Not Good
Cast aluminum pistons - Not Good
Again, this failure is FAR LESS likely about the power level he was pushing, and FAR MORE likely about the quality of the tune. Most likely the E85, had low E Content, and the Knock Sensors were disabled. Instead of it adjusting timing due to knocking it grenaded. Dependable power is WAY more dependent on good tuning on these motors and far less on the hard parts.
