Cam Phaser replacement after Jan 1 2023?

Hello, I don’t have any cam phaser rattle, but my power train warranty ends early next year, is it possible to get it changed before the warranty expires?

The dealer wont fix something thats not broken or not making any noise...id assume. They would need to hear the rattle.

This is not a recall (although it SHOULD be seeing as every Expy I have test drive has had the startup phaser rattle)

If it's still under warranty, then get the work done while you can. No one wants to spend money they don't have to, check your warranty and get the work done!

Don't let it pass factory warranty. After that, they will charge you for this recall depending how many miles your vehicle has.

Does this still apply today, or did the program expire? If I run out of powertrain warranty time wise, but still within the extended mileage coverage wise, will Ford still cover part of the costs?
