Last week I had the Expy towed to the mechanic, expecting to pay $350 for him to install the Motorcraft pump, gasket and lock I’d purchased from Rockauto. It started up for him but was very sluggish . Turned out a turbo intake hose had come off. $80 diagnostic fee. Thankfully still within the return window. Guess that’s why he’s the mechanic.
