Ford swapping Sync for Android

Didn't see this posted anywhere. Personally, I think it's great. Google drives software development advances much more quickly than Ford. And with the advent of improved autonomous driving features, perhaps we'll see some Waymo tech on future Ford vehicles. I'm surprised the new Mach-E does not have full-time 360 cameras like Teslas. I think that feature might reduce insurance rates in the future, not to mention improved driver safety. Android Auto works well, but I hate how it operates separately from Sync. Jumping back and forth between the two displays is inconvenient.
