From 2001 to 2007 - Loved old seat hate new buckets!

I love my 2001 Expedition. So when Bidadoo Auctions came up with a 2007 with 148K on it I bid and won it. $4400! I love it.....EXCEPT! I hate the front seats! They're buckets and they're cloth. I swear, the seats have dog hair magnets in them, for one; and I miss my center console for another. My 60/40 in the '01 were heaven compared to these. WHY DID THEY DO THAT?
Anyway, first I want to know if anyone makes a good vinyl seat cover for these '07's. Second, I want to know if I can put an F150 center seat in without too much difficulty? If the pan for the Expy is the same as that for the F150 can I cound on the welded mounting nuts being there?
Also, it seems I have a rare bird. JSYK (just so you'll know) My front seats are cloth; but the rear seats are vinyl - at least I think they're vinyl! And according to my dealership it came that way. He said he'd never seen one before. So it also strikes me to ask, did '07's come with front buckets in vinyl? Or is leather the only option?

You have an SSV, hence the odd cloth front vinyl rear seating and the missing console

You can swap in any 3rd gen seats or recover them with Katzkin. Consoles can be added.

As far as the seating is concerned, seating from any 07 -17 Expedition will bolt in, but the power accessories on the front seat could be an issue because of wiring and software module differences. I can't say about the F150 compatibility but others here might know.

You are correct. I misread the line where it said special services vehicle. Could haves sworn I saw "less" in front if it when I read it the first time.

Holy Cow, Andy! You got all of that out of those numbers? I sure hope you were able to cut and paste, because typing all of that out would have knocked me out! You said it was a fleet vehicle but not an SSV. However, in minor options it says Special Services Vehicle. Isn't that what SSV means?
The other great thing is that you told me the color of my seats in the back. They didn't look tan to me and they certainly didn't look grey! LOL! And when I gave the code to the parts dept at the Dealership they couldn't tell me either. But it says right there - Medium Light Stone.
It also says: (-) GVMT Service Administration. Does this mean it was a GSA vehicle? That would be fine with me! So was my 2001. But GSA tends to take great care with their vehicles, so I'm smiling.

I think this is what we read in Minor features that lead to that conclusion. Reads close to “Special Service Vehicle”.

• Less Special Purpose Vehicle
