P.S. - And yes, clear vision is not easy to get perfect in a shop setting. In the factory this is done with an expensive piece of equipment. The operator installs a tool onto the steering wheel that has an inclinometer. He sets it to read zero, then there's a pogo that locks the steering wheel in place either extending up to the windshield or down to the seat. Rollers spin all four wheels reading the side walls with lasers. It is constantly sampling all four corners as an operator is underneath performing live adjustment of the tie rod ends. Not only does this take into account front end setting, but thrust angle as well. Good luck trying to match that result on a static rack. Hence, drive, adjust, drive, until it's just how you want it.
