I just purchased a 2022 timberline with the factory running boards. I always put moulded splash guards on all my vehicles. Can anyone verify that the Weathertec is the only set that works for the expedition with the factory RB's? I know ford has nothing except those chrome things. Thanks in advance

I purchased the Weathertech not due to finding they're the only ones that work with the running boards, just because we were getting matching floor liners at the same time and have always liked the company.

I can vouch for their perfect fitment and effectiveness, not to mention they look really good. We also bought the hood deflector and window deflectors at the same time.

Yes, I installed them yesterday. I was really impressed with the install and the quality (except for the ppf). A really good fit and clears the factory running boards without issues. PPF was cut wrong and I just decided not to use. Ive never had a problem with paint damage from bolted molded splash guards.

Well soon after buying my 011 EL w/ the power RB's in 2021, I started shopping for moulded splash guards, and went to 7 different places that sells & installs them....one of which was my local Ford dealer that we have been customers of for many years, since we have bought several vehicles from them. The only ones they could get were the OEM (of course) pos chrome-ish lookin thingies, to which I said nope, notta, no way 'Jose :)

I looked at several different brands/models/price ranges, and concluded that the WeatherTech was the way to go...this was also the opinion of 6 of the 7 places I went....

So anyways, I got them & a complete set of custom-fit mats (including the one for the cargo area) for ~$400 installed, so I was a happy camper :D
