Thought I would introduce myself. My name is Jeff and I purchased my first Expedition about 7 months ago. It is a 1998 Eddie Bauer with 137000 on it. So far I love it, except the 12mpg.

I've got a 98 Eddie Bauer too. MPG's are a downside, but we all know we didn't buy these things for the mileage!!! Welcome to the forums. Lots of great info and people here.

Thanks guys. You are right we didn't buy them for the mileage. I was used to a 97 Suzuki Sidekick 4dr. with 7" of lift and 31" Swampers. I built it all myself but with 3 kids the Sidekick was tooo small. I love the looks of the lifted Exp's you both have. I plan to mildly lift mine, coil spacers and maybe a body lift in the future. I actually make and sell lift kits for Sidekicks, Trackers, Vitaras, and any other named vehicle on that Suzuki platform. Maybe I'll expand to include Expeditions.
