just took a 1500 mile trip up north. drove up to windsor ca just outside santa rosa. spent a couple days there going back and forth between napa, sonoma, and calistoga. first day there went to gf's uncles spa he owns indian springs. cool place. her uncle treated us to a day at his spa and then gave me a suprise. i asked him whos car that was i saw in the carport and he said it was his. he then asked if i wanted to drive the car his wife just bought. i said sure and he then handed over the fob to a brand new aston martin vantage and said have fun. talk about a wooohooo moment. driving a 150k car with an exhaust note from heaven. i know im too big for the car but you cant pass up a chance like that even if you have to shoehorn yourself in. after that went up to redding and shasta lake taking back roads. stayed there a few days then headed back home down the I-5. on hwy average 17.5 doing about 75-80 @ 2100rpm(with a/c on most of the way). got about 15.5 doing back and forth driving.
