so I inherited a 2008 Ford Expedition with 190,000 miles on it. cats were clogged so like any true American I got a 3inch offroad y pipe w (1) 02 sensor, to replace the cats that goes into 3-inch pipe about 2 feet then into an x pipe then dumped before the axle like a NASCAR,
so one fixed the issue of clogged cats but it will throw that damn wrench at like 3500 rpm or higher it seems 2nd or 3rd gear most times, turn the car off and back on press fuel rest and sometimes that resolves it and the truck will run uninterrupted and pull hard and all but then sometimes it throws the wrench and limp mode I guess??? Could this be due to the coil pack being bad, traction control or that advanced track BS, would getting a proper scanner or flash tool/programer fix this?
