The plastic bracket that the drivers side interior door handle fits into is broken.

It is mounted to the interior frame of the door.

I have not been able to find the part on line for this gen of Expedition.

Can anyone point me to a source other than a pick a part place.

Thank you.

Yes, you have to replace the entire door window regulator. It's all a molded piece and that little hinge point is in fact molded and part of the regulator frame.
Use only Motorcraft parts on this piece. Off name parts will not line up exactly and you will end up with door trim issues.
Be careful re-installing the door handle hinge pin. It is direction specific and you will break off the plastic hinge mount if you force it the wrong way.
Look at your other side if it is still intact and note the direction / orientation of the hinge pin.

Motorcraft WLR-11 for the front drivers door.

If you look close at the image below you will see the hinge point there in the frame....

I've had good luck repairing things vs replacement. Epoxy and sometimes additional material to strengthen the broken area. New hardware also depending on the situation. Many things can be repaired and you avoid a lot of work finding parts, swapping them out, and its usually a lot cheaper. Not always possible
