Blind Spot Monitoring suddenly not available when towing

I have a 2020 Expedition Platinum 4WD. I have towed the same trailer multiple times with the Blind Spot active for the registered trailer. Unfortunately my last trip of 4600 miles was done because I could not get BS to active. I got a message saying "No Stored Blind Spot Trailers." I modified and later deleted and added the same trailer back it. It would allow me to answer the questions of length and width but I kept getting the same error message. The blind spot works fine with no trailer connected. Any suggestions?

I have a 2021 Limited 4wd and I have pulled a trailer with it for 31,000 of it's 56,000 miles and my last 7000 trip my BSM gave me the exact message as Bruce P's. I too deleted the trailer and reentered the length and width to no avail. Help.

I believe they did an update that removed the functionality. Maybe do a search, I thought there was a post a while back where someone talked about it.

I've been trying to find a fix for this for about 6 months now. It worked fine the first 4 months that I had my new-to-me 2021 Expedition but then it just stopped working. I've tried deleting and creating new trailers a million times and can never get the blind spot thing to work with a trailer anymore. I've pretty much given up on it

I have a '22 and have never been activate the blind spot function while trailering. Any help would be appreciated,

See if this thread helps at all. THis is the one I was thinking of. I should try setting a trailer up in mine and see if it works. I've never bothered to set trailers up. I'm old school and just hook the trailer up and tow it.

I have not messed with it for a while, but when I was setting up my trailer last hear it said the BSM would only work on 33’ (I think) trailer. Ours is 34. So I just changed the setting to 32. But I will say I am getting the message again. Setting up a trailer seems to have a lot of glitches.
