I hate my headlights, I'm wanting to install some good bi-LED projectors, but I like the look of the DRL's on these. Just wondering how bright the running lights actually are on them? Also how large are the projectors in them (guessing) and how well the lenses are holding up? I'll retrofit my...
Towing capacity is a little less bit I've pulled some rather heavy loads with our '11, the tractor and the RX7 are both well within the tow limits unless you got a silly trailer...though I would not trust my brakes in the least with either of those loads on a trailer without it's own braking...
I would treat the spare as a spare and not worry about the pressure sensor. My spare is intended to be a spare, if I'm running the spare it's only until I get the highway tire replaced. The hassle of reprogramming the TPS sensors is going to be greater than just dealing with the light. This...
The songle steps will bolt up but the running boards do not. There were a few factory installed 3rd party boards with adjustable mounts that “might” but the fixed mount F150 and 250 boards do not fit the expedition.
We just picked up a 2012 and it only came with one key and fob and one of them is a cheap replacement. Can all the existing keys be erased through the user interface or something or is this a locksmith only scenario?
It's a 2012. I've tried LED bulbs in the past and found the "upgrade" to mostly be placebo...lots of scatter and the "improvement" was mostly just the different color temp playing with our perception. I would much rather get better modules in the fixtures.
I wouldn't. Oil treatments, seafoam, most of that stuff is snakewater. Best thing you can do to address previously conducted regular maintenance is to start performing regular maintenance.
Our headlights are terrible...almost no difference between high beam and low beam, poor spread, just bad. So I'm looking at installing some bi-led morimoto modules.
First question: Before I go through the effort and expense, are there any drop in options available that will improve the light...
Go to a wrecker and pick some out that you like. Here we have a wrench a part salvage yard that sells running boards for like $20 a piece.
All first, second, and third generation expedition running boards are interchangeable assuming similar wheelbase...
I really don’t know because the interface doesn’t look anything like any of the pictures on Ford’s website. I base the version three on board telling me that there was an available update for the system and it listed version three. I can’t find a version or build number in any of the menus in...
I have a 2011 expedition with what I think is sync 3... I Can’t say for certain because none of the stupid examples on Ford’s pick your version of sync page look anything like what’s in my truck. A couple weeks ago it stopped connecting to any Bluetooth devices. No phones no tablets. I have...
2011. System worked great all the way up until it didn't. One day it'd connect to my phone but there was no audio. Then suddenly it wouldn't connect to any phone. Tried removing and repairing devices, no change. Performed both resets available in the menus on the headunit, no change. I've...
2011. When we got it the washers would barely get high enough to hit the wipers and after a month or so it completely failed. I bought a new pump and it does the same thing. Barely reaches the wipers. Screen is new, battery voltage at pump, lines are clear (blew through them with compressed...
A family member has a 2011 that has the door code thing but they don’t have the code. They don’t have the courtesy card either. On my 2005 it was on a module under the passenger side dash but i didn’t see it on theirs. Where’s it located on the 3rd generation?
holy shitballs the openers come with remotes?! I mean that's bypassing a problem instead of actually repairing it but it's probably easier than opening the doors by giving them a disappointed stare until they open out of sheer embarrassment like I have been doing for the last three years. One...
The Car2u system is not compatible with Security+ 2.0 garage door openers. You have to buy a bridge adapter to make it work with newer Chamberlain and Liftmaster doors.
